PARTIME, DISTANCE ONLINE LEARNING
Objective of the Program The College appreciates that due to official work engagements, some students wishing to pursue certain courses are not able to find time to do so. Yet it is possible for one to work and study with a view of gaining additional knowledge and skills, and even to acquire beneficial positive attitude to a career. The knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired help in gaining promotion at the workplace or greatly assist in running own business enterprises much more effectively for entrepreneurs, and to generate profits with much more ease. Courses available on partime, distance online module It is for this reason that Royal College has identified selected courses to be available as partime or distance learning courses. (Not all courses can be taught using this module).Courses available on the distance learning module are as follows:
Once you have identified your desired course, you will apply like any other course, but indicate that you wish to be an online distant student. Once you have been accepted for a given course (of which you must meet the minimum entry requirements) you will be notified promptly. At this point you will be advised on the registration fee requirement. Once the fees have been received you will be given an admission number. This number is important because it will double as your password to the distance learning module to access learning material. Hence you must protect it. Once you have been registered as a student, you will be provided with a user name, which will allow you access to course material on a course unit basis. Tuition fees will be paid on a course unit basis. Unit details will be provided for each course on registration. Should you have questions, you will be provided with an online tutor who will address your tuition inquiries. Tuition and lecturer Contacts On regular scheduled basis, you will be required to make contact with your lecturer for intensive personalized tutorials. This period will not exceed one week and you will be notified when this will likely to be at the time of registering for a course unit. It will be a requirement of all distance courses that this contact is made. All examinations will be sit-in, taken at the College. |
